Sobering Realization

I moved to Houston after the "great freeze" and ignored all the disclaimers about the infrastructure issues. Are we all sobering up to the fact that this city needs a reality check? The infrastructure sucks, the dating scene sucks, the night life is sub-par, the food scene is great, but the roads will get flooded or tear up your tires. There's barely any public transportation for being the 4th largest metro in the US.

It's this merely people letting stubborn politicians run this state/city, or have we fallen for the hype?
