Altuve has felt so cemented in that position since Springer left that any other option feels odd.

Bregman has the desired OBP, but not the prototypical speed or sparkplug energy the org seems to value to lead off. Same issue with Brantley.

Tucker? Fits some of the criteria on paper but he's such an RBI machine you'd be nervous about giving him less opportunities to hit with runners on.

I could see Dusty trying out Peña for a time, but unless he takes a very meaningful step forward offensively, especially in regard to his BB%, then he's not gonna provide much value up there.

idk I'm kind of flummoxed on this one. I think we'll be fine and remain competitive but Altuve's absence is such a devastating blow in so many different facets.
