So many homes for 200k. What’s the catch ?

I sometimes do random searches for homes in random cities on Zillow and I see a whole bunch of decent looking houses in Houston for 200k. With the housing crisis we’re in I know there’s got to be some type of catch. So for the houstonians, what’s the catch with these ?? Can ALL of them be bad ?
