So I finally able to save money up for a down payment on a house and the house prices are insane.

I’m looking at multiple houses mainly in the humble/atascocita area and prices has jump over $100k within the past two years. My budget is $350 to $380k with 20 percent down. I do make around $110k. Rates are also high as well. I’m not sure when houses will be back down again nor rates. Is there any other areas you guys could recommend me with fairly new houses that are fairly near Houston. Katy is too far and Conroe is too far.
