So 59/610 interchange was closed for like 2 years for… what, exactly?

They redid some of the concrete. Maybe I'm dense or just your average moron because I didn't research the project, but I thought they were supposed to be doing something for the traffic flow problem. It's exactly the same as it was.

59 westbound to 610 northbound is still 1 lane that's backed up for a mile during rush hour, and of course there's always 2 completely empty lanes going to 610 southbound for the 7 cars that go that way.

I realize the Westheimer exit on 610 is problematic being where it is, I guess I assumed something would be done about that too. Put it further down towards where Westheiemer actually is, we don't need a half mile ride down the feeder to the lights at Westheimer where it exits now. And then have 2 lanes going to 610 northbound.

What are the civil engineers smoking and where do I get some?
