Smithsonian Latino Leader YAP Scholarship/ Holocaust Museum Houston Internship Opportunity

Hi guys! I got an email about this scholarship and would like to share.

If you are or if you know a graduating Latino-Hispanic high school senior, you/they may be eligible for the Young Ambassadors Program brought to you by Ford Motor Company and the Smithsonian Museum Network/National Museum of the American Latino. The region selected museum for Houston will be the Holocaust Museum Houston in the museum district.

INFO:

• APPLICATION DEADLINE: APRIL 8, 2024
• Have a minimum weighted cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale; other requirements will be listed on document under fourth bullet.
• Participation in the Young Ambassadors Program includes meals and accommodations for the duration of the one-week training seminar, and round-trip travel costs to Washington, D.C.
• 4 week internship at one of the following museums listed under "2024 Internship Regions"
  • Participants are encouraged to apply to their local region selected museum, as transportation, accommodation and meals are not provided during internship portion.
