Small Claims Court timeline

For anyone who's gone through filing in small claims, how long did the process take? I filed a case last month and from what I can see, the defendant still hasn't been served. I know once they are they have 14 days to respond before I can request a court date, but how long does it take for the case to get approved/have the constable attempt to serve?
