Six Flags Astroworld general manager

Driving by the old astroworld site (no not Travis Scott’s concert, the OG astroworld) I’m saddened to see an empty lot (graveyard) now 18 years after Six Flags decided to raze the property.

I couldn’t help but wonder who the last GM of astroworld was and what stories he has to share of the park’s final days. I’m sure they have unique perspective into how then Six Flags CEO Kieren Burke sold the park in haste and desperation to appease shareholders amid a hostile takeover of Six Flags corp.

Ironically Burke has his hand in amusement parks here yet again in the form of Wet n Wild Splashtown. Not sure his exact involvement there but I’m surprised that man has the gall to come back and do business in a city he let down so badly.
