Side Project Meetup in Houston
Hello r/Houston!
My name is Jordan. A couple of colleagues and myself have created a community called Side Project Society. Our goal is to create a space where people with existing side projects or people interested in starting a side project can gather. We want our community to provide support, accountability, feedback and encouragement so more passion projects become fully fledged realities.
If you find this interesting, I encourage you to come check us out. We are meeting in Westchase near Beltway 8 and i10 August 4th, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
We plan to discuss some topics that may help you with your side project, as well as have someone showcase their project. There will be some opportunity as well for attendees to discuss their projects ad hoc, and receive input.
At the moment, our group is primarily tech based (programmers, software engineers, technical BA’s and PO’s…), but we welcome and encourage participation from any background.
