SHSU or UHCL for Geography B.S.

I’m trying to decide where I want to finish my Geography degree. I started at Texas State (great geography program) a few years ago, but dropped out and joined the military. (ran out of money)

I’m finishing up my associates and I’m wanting to continue my Geography degree. I really want to stay in the Houston metro area. Tuition isn’t a concern since it will be paid for by GI Bill.

I’m looking for: -small class sizes. Texas State’s Geo program was amazing, but the classes were huge!

-houston area (im ok with driving to huntsville)

-focus more on GIS and computer based apps, maybe get a minor in computer science?

-wanting a teacher certification for grades 7-12

Also, how is the parking like at SHSU and UHCL?
