Show kindness to your delivery drivers this holiday season
I drive for Uber eats as a second job and this holiday season I’ve worked about 65 hrs a week with both combined. Trust me we don’t like it when restaurants are slow with your order or if the traffic is horrible. I try and stagger my trips so I make at least $15 an hour and when things take too long I’m losing money, especially when you don’t tip because of it. Some lady was screaming at me the other day because although I circled for 30 min downtown listening to her disrespect me on the phone, she couldn’t give me clear directions to find her. I had to cancel her order and made $3 that hour because she was more concerned with yelling at me than helping.
Sorry for the rant, Just please be kind.
