Shoutout Phil Maton

Hadn’t heard of this guy until we got him mid-season. Looking at his career numbers, he boasts a 4.76 ERA, including a 4.97 ERA with the Astros this regular season. Obviously not great.

This postseason he has a 0.82 ERA with 13 strikeouts in just 11 innings. We’ve worked him in some dire spots and the kid just hasn’t come up short.

Talk about showing up when he’s needed the most…
