Shoulder surgeon recommendation

I injured my shoulder at the gym at the beginning of this year and after multiple doctor visits, an MRI, and 2 rounds of physical therapy it seems I'll need arthroscopic surgery. MRI showed both a rotator cuff tear (supraspinatus) and a labrum tear.

I visited a couple surgeons but I'd like your knowledge to help pick the best for me. Both seem really good with great bedside manners but tbh I never had surgery before so not sure I'm the best judge. They were:

– Dr David Lintner – Houston Methodist

– Dr Mufaddal Gombera – Fondren Ortho Group

Have any of you had surgery or had a relative or acquaintance who had surgery with the above?

Anyone who strongly recommend a different shoulder surgeon? Or recommendations to prepare for the surgery?
