Should I sue auto body repair for damage done after dropping off. Lawyers?

So I’m pretty new to the Houston area. Got in an accident back in December. Fender bender. Damage to front of my car. Still driveable so I take to a body shop (really great reviews). After months in the shop, I pick up and realize my windshield is cracked. I bring attention to shop owner because obviously that would’ve been submitted to my insurance and fixed if due to wreck. He says he’s gonna submit to insurance. I called insurance to send pictures at drop off to double check. Come to find out. No damage to windshield. Thought shop owner would fess up but blames my insurance for bad pictures. I figured the shop has cameras. Something. Obviously they don’t want to pay for damaging while in their care. Need to know some good lawyers who deal with things like this (under $1k) because I don’t want to be taken advantage of
