should i find a different place?

I’ve been looking for rooms to rent in houston that are kinda cheap because I can’t afford a lot and found a listing near West University Place. I thought it was luck until I looked on the map and saw that it was only seven-ish streets away from Bissonnet. I’m younger and not 5’8 so being safe where I live is a big concern. Do yall recommend I find a place not around Bellaire (at least where Bissonnet passes through) or do y’all think I will be fine as long as i don’t go around there.
