Short solo visit to Houston

Hi folks! I'm visiting the US from England and spending Monday evening – Thursday morning in Houston next week.

Question is… If you had a family member or friend with a flying visit like mine, what is the main thing that you'd suggest they do / place you'd send them to eat?

I'm travelling alone, staying downtown but can get about and currently the only thing on my list is $1 hotdog night at the Astros, as I'm a man of culture.
