Shipping a car from Texas to California

Anyone ever shipped a car to a different state? I need to ship my old car to someone desperately in need of a car for getting to work. I need it picked up from Houston and shipped to the Los Angeles area. Was trying to get an idea of cost estimates and best companies to go with. Doesn't have to be enclosed. It's a small sedan
