Shelters that will take 2 stray dogs immediately?

What shelters and/or rescues in Houston will intake two stray dogs immediately? Many places have wait-lists. Both appear healthy. Not aggressive, but skittish towards humans. Approx. 1 year old each. Thanks in advance!
