Sharpstown?

Looking to buy a house in Sharpstown. I know certain areas are to be avoided (mainly the areas near complexes). I’m looking on the Leader Street area. The block seemed well maintained and I talked to a few neighbors who seemed to love it there.

I’m looking for any advice on this as I fell in love with a house there. I like the diversity and hear the restaurants are great.

I’m a single woman with two dogs and would take the necessary precautions of having home security and all of that. I don’t plan on wandering the streets late at night or anything. I just don’t want to worry about coming home every night. I’m also hoping that street doesn’t get too crazy with noise after dark.
