[Serious] I do not understand the drug crisis in Houston and I want to. Help

New to Houston and I've lived all over the world. I love a lot about TX and Houston especially but I've noticed that people here are freaking terrible when it comes to drugs. I'm seeing signs about fentanyl everywhere and reading about teenagers dying. Yet I can't find a single decent connect for anything despite everyone clearly being on something.

I was just talking to this dude whose pupils were pinned like mad and I tried to connect but the paranoia was just insane and I got shut down. I'm guessing it's the draconian drug policies? In LA, it's so freaking easy to find a decent, and even trustworthy friend who will tell you exactly what has fent, how much and what to expect. And Europe doesn't have fent but all the drugs there are just legit anyway (except weed, which I don't consider a drug… and everyone here seems to love that too, slightly more than meth I'm guessing — also weird because the legal penalty is the same so why tf is it so popular smh)

Anyway, what I want to know is how is this drug crisis being fueled? Where are all these kids finding pressed blue 30's that they should never be taking?? I need to know, so that I can buy them all and save these kids. So please, someone think of the children, and point me in the right direction. Help me help this community
