Semiconductor giant Micron scouts Central Texas for major factory, sources say

Micron Technology Inc. plans to invest more than $150 billion over the coming decade to expand its chipmaking capabilities. A big part of that investment could land in Central Texas, which the company is considering for a massive fabrication facility, multiple sources tell the Austin Business Journal.
