Seeking recommendations for exterior home repairs, maybe windows too.

I'm in NW Houston, and my house has issues with the exterior siding in several areas. Some boards are rotten and some trim is ready to just fall off. The longer I defer remedying this, the more likely damage is happening inside the walls due to exposure to rain, etc.

I also have some double-paned windows that have condensation/discoloration inside them, so they need replacing.

I've had circulars from various companies left at my door. Some saying no interest, no payments for a year, etc.

I recognize that the scope of repairs I need is probably going to result in a bank loan, but I still need to decide what company is best to get the job done.

A neighbor a block over had a crew doing his place and I saw them ripping off siding and really going at it, and then one day it all stopped and for several weeks, the house has sat there with tarps on the sides and nothing going on. I don't know the guy, I only see the place when I'm walking my dogs. But I don't want to hire some contractor and end up with my house all torn up and nothing going on.

Have you had a bunch of siding replaced and you're happy with the contractor? If so, let's talk about it please!
