See some Houston executives and business owners who served in the military

Houston has one of the largest veteran populations in the U.S. It is also one of the top cities for veteran entrepreneurs, according to the PenFed Foundation Veteran Entrepreneur Investment Program, a nonprofit that helps veteran-owned startups with seed capital to grow their business.

The Bayou City came in at No. 12 on PenFed Foundation VEIP’s list of 2021 Top U.S. Cities for Veteran Entrepreneurs, released Nov. 10, dropping down a spot from last year’s list.
