Second Beaver’s restaurant closes after 3 years

Beaver’s West — the second iteration of the concept started by Monica Pope in the Washington Avenue Corridor — has closed.

Operating for almost exactly three years, Beaver’s West touted its “barbecue-infused Southern comfort food” on its menu. The restaurant, at 6025 Westheimer Road, could easily be identified by the massive beaver statue facing Westheimer a mile and a half west of The Galleria mall.
