Seating policy?

Taking family to game for the first time tomorrow. Loving all the tips in here.

If during the game(and between at bats) we want to take a walk around and get food etc, will there maybe be somebody in our seats? I tried googling, but it came up with two different answers (yes you can/ it’s likely someone will). If yes, do people get up without arguing?… Thanks for the info~
