Season ticket holders chime in!

I have been going to a few games a month here for a while and the fees they charge are killing me with single ticket sales. I had a sales person bug me for a while few years back for season tickets but I can’t do 82 games and he wasn’t interested in selling me anything else. I did mini plans last few seasons but they aren’t offering them this season. I have been eyeballing half season tickets and the 20/40 game packages.

My question is how hard is it to get rid of the games you don’t/can’t make? I don’t really care about making a profit but recouping (or minimizing) my losses would be nice. What I would really hate is for my seat to goto waste and be empty if they don’t sell. What are your thoughts?
