Search for Groceries by Macros at HEB

Hey y’all—wanted to share something I built that might be useful if you care about hitting your macros and shop at H-E-B.

It’s called https://fitnibz.com – short for “nib on food that fits your macros”. Basically, you set your own macro targets (like exact grams of protein, carbs, fat, fiber, etc.) and it shows you grocery items from your local H-E-B that match what you’re looking for.

Instead of just browsing labels or guessing if something fits your meal plan, you can filter products by exact numbers—like 30g protein, <10g carbs, or however specific you want to be. It’s kind of like having a macro-aware grocery aisle.

This idea came to me when a friend of mine told HEB’s Mootopia brand sells milk that has the same macros as one of Fairlife’s milk products. I was thinking “Why wouldn’t I go for the cheaper and more locally sourced option? And why didn’t l know of this sooner?”
