Sean Payton
I love Lovie he’s been a great presence in the locker room, and he just seem like a good dude. This is not me wishing Lovie lose his job, just more of discussing the possibilities. With that said this is a hypothetical if the worst case happens for the Texans and he was fired at the end of the year.
Sean Payton said that if the right coaching job came along he would come back to coaching. With the fact we have 4 first round picks over the next 2 years, and a young team and soon to be a lot of cap space. Would Houston be the right job if we have the chance to draft one of the QBs this year? Our defense is taking shape, our offense has something… what that is, is yet to be seen. Is this a job that will become enticing to coaches if god forbid Lovie is fired? Seems like Nick is a good GM, Easterby doesn’t seem to be in the mix, and Cal seems to be taking a step back and letting the team run itself. I don’t know, I know I live in the Kool Aid but I just don’t see how we don’t make it out of the next 3/4 years a contender with out picks and cap space after trading Watson.
