Screws, Nails and Tires

Does anyone else pick up nails or screws in their tires and have to replace them every 4-6 months, or is it just me? Right now I have a screw in my back left and back right tire. Pretty sure the screws are holding air in tires because the tires don’t seem to be sagging but my god; it’s so maddening to have to replace tires so often. I’ve lived here my whole life and the problem just seems to get worse and worse.
