Science degree from a Christian Uni – Legit or not?

Hi Houston!

TL;DR: Are science degrees from religious universities, such as HBU or St. Thomas, viewed differently by other professionals?I could use some advice on degree programs in the area, since I am a first-gen. non-traditional student finishing my associate's degree. I want to transfer to a bachelor's program with the end goal of grad school in the medical field (interested in PA but am open to other careers).

My question is specifically about how potential employers view certain degrees. Although I have the goal of grad school, as a nontraditional student I am aware of how life sometimes has other plans. This will be a career change for me, and I don't have any other family that can give advice on college, so I could really use some guidance.

Thanks for reading!

EDIT: I couldn't find any Houston subreddits that were about general education or science professions, so please link below if you know of any. Thank you!
