Scammers claiming to be from Harris County Process Serving

Usually wouldn't even bring it up but I am because Harris County Clerks office states they have been receiving a lot of these calls this week.

People calling around claiming to be from Harris County Process Serving department. They call from a 346 area code number, and leave a voicemail saying their call back is 833-883-2121. They are trying to scare people into thinking they are about to be served to be seen in front of a judge trying to get money out of them.

I called the Harris County courts themselves and inquired and gave her the "case number" they guy on the phone left me, and she found nothing and states that their offices have been receiving a ton of those calls today and yesterday about people trying to confirm if it's real or not. They are also calling family members of the targets to try to get them to pay up on their family member's behalf. Be careful out there folks!
