Sam Houston National Forest

So. First question. Is there a ranger station? I feel like the US.fsda website and phone line is nice, but I feel like physically going to talk to a ranger might be nicer.I tried to Google the address for the Sam Houston Ranger District Office and Google maps says it's temporarily closed

Two. Are there places I can buy a physical access pass? I see you can buy it online and it'll get shipped to you, but I plan to go tomorrow, so I can't really wait around for a card to ship to my hotel room

Thank you again (my friend who lives here wants a getaway and to go see nature. She's never been. I've never been here in Houston period. The forest looked cool on the map and I guess theres a lake. So that also looks cool!)
