Safest Neighborhoods

Hi all,

I used to live in League City but moved out of state for work 7 years ago. Planning on moving back to start a family, and narrowed it down to the following areas:

1. Humble
2. Kingwood
3. Atascocita
4. Woodlands
5. Tombball
6. Pearland
7. Alvin
8. Manvel

We were originally going to settle with Humble, but heard a lot of mixed opinions about the area so we wanted to expand our scope a bit. I work from home 75% of the time so commuting will most likely not be an issue (work location is near the George Bush airport).

My wife and I wanted to focus on finding the safest neighborhoods with great schools and wanted to get opinions from locals so we know which areas to visit on our next trip.
