Safe area to live

Hi everyone, I am planning to move to Houston next month. I’m looking for a safe area to live, and I will be moving into apartment. I have seen a lot bad reviews for the apartments t, most of them got break in the car, which I don’t like the most. I will be most likely work around airport area. Any other advices will help.
