Sad puppy found under a car somewhere between Hearth Dr. & S. Bartell St and Westridge St & Hearth Dr- Please help I wasn’t able to

Ran across a very sad looking puppy (maybe a white lab mix) hiding under a car while I was walking to catch the bus. He/she peeked out with the saddest looking eyes when I got closer and accepted meat from my sandwich.

If I were in my hometown- puppy would be chilling in my house. However, I'm only in Houston temporarily. I don't have a car to get the puppy, a place to house him/her or contacts in the area to help. I'm really heartbroken that I'm unable to help but maybe there's an off chance someone in the area can. It makes me so sad to leave him/her in that state- all wet and sad looking.
