Runway 17/35 Rehabilitation Project

Sugar Land Regional Airport’s Runway 17-35 will be undergoing a rehabilitation project to make improvements to the airfield pavement. The project is currently in the design phase, which is expected to be complete in 2024. Construction is likely to occur in 2026-2027. We anticipate there will be impacts to the airfield during this project.

Extensive tenant and airport stakeholder workshops will be held to inform interested users of the airport about construction methods and timelines, as well as gather input on user operations to minimize impacts of the construction phase.
