Roofing Scam/Vandalism

Beware of Angelman Roofing everyone. In the process of selling my house. The buyers sent their own roofing company (Angelman) to look at the roof. We’ve been going back and forth with them about full replacement vs repair. This morning, the Angelman rep showed up around 11. We were at work, but didn’t have an issue (mistake on our part) because we really want the sale to go through. In a weird twist of fate, the roofer we hired to also give a quote showed up after Angelman arrived and caught him actively damaging our roof. There was a confrontation. The guy from Angelman claimed his was doing a brittle test. I have a pic of the guy with a tool that kind of looks like a crowbar. Debating if I should post it, pics of the damage, and a video of him jumping into his car. Of course the company is denying responsibility. I filed a police report and insurance claim, but if anyone has dealt with something similar, let me know how things ended. I did some Googling and found a video that went viral on Reddit a while back about a similar situation, so I guess it’s a scam.
