RodeoHouston reveals initial plans for 2022, including George Strait concert
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has announced initial plans for its 90th anniversary celebration in 2022 after two years of Covid cancellations.
The 2022 event will run from Monday, Feb. 28, through Sunday, March 20, at NRG Park. The 2022 World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest is scheduled for Feb. 24-26. The 21-day main event is one day longer than a typical RodeoHouston schedule.
The closing night will feature a concert-only performance by George Strait, marking his 31st RodeoHouston appearance.…
