Rodeo and concert advice

Rodeo first timer! I have family visiting and we have an ambitious plan to go to the rodeo for the day, go to a comedy show at 7pm, then go back to NRG Stadium for 50 Cent at 9pm. Is this feasible?

We are planning to park on the Yellow Lot all day, and just Ubering to the stand-up show and back to the stadium.

I know we’ll be missing the actual rodeo show, but none of us have any clue what it is.

My questions are:

1. If we arrive around noon, is the Yellow Lot likely to be full already? Is it better to take public transportation there and back?

2. Is there enough stuff to do there that we should stay from noon until evening? We don’t have kids with us.

3. Just like other concerts, is the performer usually an hour or so late to come out? That would be perfect for us.
