River tubing options in Texas

Staying in Houston for the next three weeks and I want to get in some water! I love tubing in my home state but I’m slightly picky. I love clear water so I can see what’s in the water. What’s less than 2 hours away where I can realistically do it this time of the year? Any tips or tricks?
