Rick Smith to Chicago Bears Rumors

Hello, r/texans! I’m a part of the r/chibears community and have seen some folks advocate for Rick Smith to take over as President of Football Operations in Chicago. Now, being a current resident of Texas, I am well aware of how awful he was in Houston. Good dude, bad GM. Can you please explain to my Bears’ brethren that we don’t want this guy because of your actual experience dealing with him at the helm? Otherwise, if these rumors are true, can you share why he should be considered for a second shot? Thank you.
