Rice University President David Leebron to step down next year

Rice University President David Leebron will step down from the position June 30, 2022.

At that point, he will have held the post for 18 years, the second-longest tenure for a Rice president. The university’s founding president, Edgar Odell Lovett, holds the record at 34 years.
