Reviews for living in or around Westbranch, Carverdale, Spring Branch areas

Hi all, I will be moving to Houston soon and was looking at an apartment complexes in the Westbranch and Carverdale area, particularly one very close to the intersection of Beltway 8 and Tanner Road. I'm also looking at some apartments nearby in the Spring Branch area.

Since I will be completely new to the area, I would appreciate if you all could share your thoughts on these areas in general in terms of safety, amenities and anything else that you feel like I should know. If there close-by neighborhoods that I should look into instead, please let me know about those as well. Thank you!
