Restaurants with mariachi band/live music

My friend has been trying to find a good tex-mex/mexican place with live mariachi music but kept getting disappointed. We trusted yelp and tried el tiempo and picos, but there was no music. Does anyone know if there’s a specific schedule for mariachi at these places or other similar recommendations?
