Restaurant Roundup: Mendocino Farms, Mala Sichuan to open in M-K-T; Several more eateries opening

In this week’s Restaurant Roundup, two chains — one local, one from California — are opening in the M-K-T mixed-use development in the Heights. Former Xochi chef Fabian Saldana has opened a restaurant replacing Berg Hospitality’s B.B. Italia in the Energy Corridor, The Burger Joint has opened its first location outside of the Loop, and more eateries are opening across the city.
