Restaurant roundup: King Ranch Texas Kitchen opens, Grand at Aliana gains a First Watch

A highly anticipated, meat-heavy restaurant is here — and several popular chain restaurants are expanding or moving — in this week’s restaurant roundup.

King Ranch Texas Kitchen opened Nov. 17. 

The restaurant from the Tilman Fertitta family and King Ranch opened at 1605 Post Oak Blvd. It will be open for dinner at 3 p.m. until Dec. 1, when it will start to open for lunch at 11 a.m. It will be open for brunch on the weekends.
