Restaurant roundup: Brennan’s of Houston extends layoffs, Acadian Bakers closes

While several restaurants, new and expanded, are preparing to open, others have closed or remain at reduced operations.

Brennan’s of Houston extends layoffs

Due to the ongoing pandemic, Brennan’s of Houston is extending what were initially expected to be short-term layoffs. Roughly 90 people have not been rehired since the restaurant reopened. The restaurant says that it expects there will be future work for some of those laid off, but it isn’t able to determine a number at this time.
