Restaurant recommendations for 30th birthday?

I'm flying into Houston to celebrate my partner's birthday and I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations for must try / great restaurants that aren't super formal but more than just casual everyday eats (unless it's amazing)? Ideally somewhere <$60/person.

It could really be anywhere in Houston but she's based in the Spring, TX area. No allergies or aversions.
