Removal of load-bearing wall likely cause of Friendswood High School roof collapse
About a month after a gym roof collapsed at Friendswood High School—killing one construction worker—officials announced July 18 the possible cause was a load-bearing wall being taken out, according to a letter from Friendswood ISD.
