Rehoming foster dog in houston

Can someone who is directly involved with a dog rescue please help me? I took in an abandoned dog from my neighborhood before the freeze in December, because I didn’t want him to freeze to death, and thought a rescue might help us find him a home. Well now I can’t even get rescues to even reply to our repeated emails and calls, not even to tell us to f**k off, and I cannot keep this dog. It’s becoming an emergency situation now and I’m at a complete loss for what to do. We’ve shared his picture all over Facebook, the vet has posted him on their social media accounts, friends and family have reached out to their friends and family… everyone comments on how cute and precious he is, but no one wants an adult dog. Please don’t respond with vague advice or unhelpful comments, I’m pleading for someone who can actually act on this and help us.
